Application Example — illustrative planning scenario, not a reported customer project.
Quick answer: A private-label buyer can prevent approval confusion by assigning separate references to a pump sample, a packaging mockup and a kit-contents sample, then limiting each review to its stated purpose.

The proposed review
A retailer is considering a birthday kit with a packaging change and an optional hand pump. The merchandising and purchasing teams will review the samples separately. Their main risk is applying a positive comment about the pack appearance to the pump or to kit contents that have not yet been checked.
| Reference | Review purpose | Decision still separate |
|---|
| SAMPLE-A | Pump feature and intended-use review | Retail packaging and any other pump variant |
| SAMPLE-B | Header-card layout and fold review | Final material, print result and kit contents |
| SAMPLE-C | Contents of the proposed retail kit | Future production or shipment acceptance |
Before sending the samples
The buyer supplies GleeParty with the product references and questions for each review. The proposed dispatch list identifies quantities, versions and accessories. Sample preparation, charges and delivery arrangements remain subject to confirmation. None of the three references is described as an approved production standard at this stage.
Each item would be tagged on its outer protective packaging. The tag should leave the inspection area clear. A reference photo would show the identifying tag and relevant features, with private address and contact details kept out of any public-facing material. Evaluation-only tools would be described as such.
When the parcel arrives
The receiving reviewer would compare the identifiers and quantities with the list before using the items. A missing identifier or visible transit issue would be recorded and clarified. Feedback would stay attached to SAMPLE-A, SAMPLE-B or SAMPLE-C rather than a general message saying that the whole parcel looks good.
A precise approval handover
The team might accept the header-card layout while requesting a clarification about the pump and leaving contents approval pending. Those outcomes can coexist. A revised sample would receive a new version, with the reason for revision stated. The original observations would remain available for comparison.
This example describes a proposed review process. It does not report a delivered parcel, an actual client result or guaranteed sample availability. Its practical aim is to make each approval statement specific enough to support the next purchasing decision.
